Send Emails to the Ministers of the Environment, Health, Municipal Affairs and Energy

We are into the end game. In a recent meeting with staff at the Ministry of Environment, there were  signs that our message was being listened to  but also that we needed to keep at it and broaden our approach.

We were told that the Minister is concerned about the public interest and that he reads a lot of the background himself and make up his own mind. Therefore we need to direct letter to him directly.

The other main point is that the decision has to go through cabinet and since our concerns are as much about health, municipal management and energy as they are about the environment we need to hit those ministers just as strongly.

If you can click your mouse, then you can send an emails to these Ministers.

Following are links to several pages with letters to the various Ministers on the subjects shown. Each page has two links. Ideally we would like you to send one letter from each page

  1. will open a brief 'click and send' email for which you need oly add your name and address and click send. All the addressing* is done for you, although you can edit it if you like.
  2. will open a pre-addressed* but blank email. Below this is a number of points that can be copied and pasted into your letter. Pick the ones that you like, edit them if you want, and your name and address and click send.

NOTE: If you are using Microsoft Outlook, You may get an error saying that email addresses need to be separated by semi-colons. This is a default on Outlook which you can change. Go to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/820868.
